Taking Flight Design Collection

My first surface pattern collection and still one of my favourites.

Crafted in pen and watercolour, inspired by a contemporary colour story, birds and flowers.

I am passionate about contemporary pencil/pen and watercolour patterns. My favourite themes are flowers and animals with a bit of a quirk.

The black swan is the main character that the story springs from. The green and blue tones are dominating here in reference to water.

Next, the birds and butterflies take centre stage. Warmer and brighter colours are setting the mood here to lift up the more muted blues and greens.
