It is so much fun to experience how some Americans take Halloween to a new level. Not having grown up with this tradition in Denmark, I'm taking it all in with great appreciation. Walking my dog around our current neighbourhood in Frisco, TX, inspired me to create this Fall/Halloween design.
Musings about the season
1. The Pumpkin's Story of Transformation
Pumpkins are the most iconic symbol of fall. These humble gourds start their journey as tiny, unassuming seeds buried in the earth. With time, care, and the nurturing touch of the sun and rain, they grow into magnificent orange orbs, ready to be transformed into jack-o'-lanterns or delicious pies. This natural transformation reminds us that change is an inherent part of life. Just as the pumpkin evolves from seed to fruit, we can grow, adapt, and embrace life's seasons of change.
2. Nature's Masterpiece in Every Leaf
The fall foliage, with its vibrant colours, creates a stunning masterpiece of nature's artistry. Each leaf gracefully falling to the ground is a testament to the beauty of letting go and releasing what no longer serves us. Just as the trees shed their leaves to make way for new growth, we, too, can shed old habits and beliefs, allowing ourselves to flourish and renew.

Halloween, with its costumes, haunted houses, and trick-or-treating, is a celebration of imagination. It's a time when we can step into the shoes of anyone or anything we desire, even if just for a night. Halloween serves as a powerful reminder of the limitless potential of our creativity.
